Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy is set to return with Vicky Kaushal and Ananya Pandey

Reportedly, Vicky Kaushal and Ananya Pandey are in talks for the sequel of Gully Boy starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh

In 2019, Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt was among the big hits of Bollywood. Due to its unique story and music, the film became a sensation among the youth of that time. The film fans are still waiting for a similar movie to enjoy new rap songs and unique stories again. 

There is good news for those fans Gully Boy 2 is in the initial phase of production. However, there is no official confirmation for the movie, but reports have suggested that the wait of fans is about to end soon. 

According to the Filmfare, the makers are in discussion with Ananya Pandey and Vicky Kaushal for the Gully Boy 2. A director for this film has also been locked. A source revealed that Arjun Vairain Singh, who is popular for directing movies such as Tiger Baby and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, has been locked to direct the much-awaited sequel. 

Arjun is confident that Ananya Pandey would be the perfect fit for the Gully Boy sequel. However, Vicky Kaushal has been associated with the sequel for a long time. 

There is no confirmation about whether the cast from Gully Boy 1 will join the sequel or not. However, it is speculated that if Gully Boy 2 becomes a hit, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, along with Siddhant Chaturvedi could join the cast of Gully Boy sequel in the third installment. 

Although, it would not be good to focus on the third installment of this movie as the sequel is still in the initial phase. However, it would be interesting to see whether Ananya Pandya and Vicky Kaushal would be confirmed for the sequel.
