Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi are confirmed for Ekta Kapoor’s next for Sony TV, replacing Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi.
As previously reported, his opposite lead actress from his previous show “Pranali Rathore” and “Shivangi Joshi, who portrayed Naira in the same show in 2nd generation, were in contention to play the female lead for this show.
Now, reports have confirmed that Shivangi Joshi has been confirmed to play the female lead opposite Harshad Chopda. Reports suggest that the talk with both Shivangi and Harshad is on for the show.
We want to share with you an important update that it might be the same show where Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi used to be play leads. Initially, the most beloved Yeh Hai Mohabbatein couple was set to be reunited for this project. However, both have reportedly stepped back because of unforeseen delays and casting issues.
Sony TV and Balaji Telefilms both were looking for established actors to ensure the show’s success. Now, production has decided to replace both of them with Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda. As mentioned above, both have worked as a lead in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for different generations, which makes them a perfect fit for the show and channel expectations.
