This year, the popular Colors TV show “Doree” returns with a second season. It was a hit show that highlighted the struggle of a young girl, “Doree,” as an abandoned child. Priyanshi Yadav steps in as a grown-up Doree with Ishaan Dhawan as Maan. 

Priyanshi was already a well-known face due to her performance in Pandya Store. Similarly, Ishaan Dhawan was also a famous actor due to his appearance in shows like Dhruv Tara. So, people had high expectations with Doree 2, but the second season failed to attract eyeballs. Now, sad news is here for Doree 2 fans. 

Doree 2 may go off-air

As we told you on our YouTube channel, Colors TV is becoming strict with the shows with low performance because it has a big lineup of new shows. It has put Mannat and Ram Bhavan under the scanner and told the makers to improve the ratings. Moreover, the channel has pulled out its most popular show “Suman Indori,” disappointing its fans. 

Now, our sources have indicated that Doree 2 is also facing the heat from the channel because of its consistently poor performance in the TRP chart. We remind you that Doree 2 is unable to touch 1 TRP since its launch. 

Makers receive notice

According to the India Forum, Colors has given makers an ultimatum to improve the performance. The channel has also suggested that makers introduce a new storyline or a new character in the show. 

In short, channels have suggested that makers do something new to revive the ratings. If the performance doesn’t improve, the channel can pull the plug anytime to make way for the latest shows.
