Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam -Radha Mohan fame approached for Jhanak to play lead after leap
Star Plus’s popular show Jhanak is all set to take a significant leap to wave new storylines and characters. The show is currently struggling to gather viewership and TRP. Reportedly, the channel has also sent a notice to the makers. Thus, makers are set to introduce new faces with a fresh storyline to revive the TRP.
As we told you before, the current cast starring Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja will make their exit before the leap. After the leap, makers will introduce new faces to attract viewers. Reportedly, makers have already started the hunt for new leads.
As we told you yesterday, the makers have approached Shoaib Ibrahim and Pranali Rathod to play the lead. In addition, reports have revealed that Shoaib has also given a look test.
Neeharika Roy approached to play a female lead
Neeharika Roy has also been approached to play a female lead in Jhanak. Neeharika was recently seen in Zee TV’s popular TV serial “Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam - Radha Mohan”. She is also famous for her versatile acting in Tera Yaar Ho Mein and Savdhaan India.
She began her acting journey in 2013 with Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap. Now, she has become a famous actress on the Indian Television. Neeharika has also given a mock test with Shoaib.
Shagun Pandey has also been approached for the male lead
Apart from Shoaib Ibrahim, makers have also approached Shagun Pandey to play the male lead in Jhanak after the leap. He is famous for Mera Balam Thanedar, Meet, and so on. Recently, he has gained immense appreciation for his work in Mera Balam Thanedar. Shagun Pandey has also done a mock shoot.
Who will become the lead?
While makers are approaching many big names, we will let you know after the new leads get finalized. However, the chances of Shoaib Ibrahim is far less than other actors. As per SBS, Shoaib has demanded a high fees for the show. SBS also reported that Anupama fame Khilwani is also in contention to play lead.
